The Lexington Community Development Group (LCDG) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and economic vitality in Lexington, Oregon. Our organization focuses on community engagement, project funding, and local development. We have four grant categories that we have available for funding.
Grant Options
LCDG has strategically focused on four categories for funding. These categories are Technical Planning, Residential Improvements, Business Improvements, and Community Development. Below are descriptions for each category as well as links to applications for each!
Grant Categories
Technical Planning
Technical Assistance Planning and Consulting is to aid with projects that need help with laying the groundwork for a project. An example for this would be a downtown improvement plan.

Residential Improvements
Structural improvements that are an investment in an existing property. This includes construction, modification, replacement, repair, and remodeling with the goal of keeping properties livable/usable.

Business Improvements
Structural improvements that are an investment in an existing property. This includes construction, modification, replacement, repair, and remodeling with the goal of keeping business properties in good working order.

Community Development
Projects that invoke a sense of place, public safety, and community gathering. Applies to buildings of historic significance.
